Who is Rate Your Tradie?

Rate Your Tradie, established in 2024, is a digital platform for customers to leave a verified review for a tradie who’s completed a project by uploading a matching invoice.

Our aim is to provide a place where customers can write an honest, detailed review for a tradie to build credibility for good tradesmen and expose dodgy tradies.

How does Rate Your Tradie work?

It’s a simple 3-step process:

  1. We’ll verify the review and invoice before it goes live.
  2. Write an honest review detailing the tradie’s name, project, timeline, fee and any other important details.
  3. Upload an invoice matching the project mentioned in the review.

Why choose Rate Your Tradie?

Unfortunately, Google reviews aren’t reliable. Many dodgy businesses have multiple fake reviews, making it almost impossible for potential customers to distinguish between good and bad tradies.

We’ve created a review process where customers must provide a recent invoice to prove they used a certain tradie for a project.

What makes Rate Your Tradie different?

Every single review is verified by checking the review and the matching invoice. Our process has been designed to make it near-impossible for fake reviews to be posted.

Our goal is to create a platform where customers can check if their particular tradie has been reviewed. Too many people have been ripped off by dodgy tradesmen and this needs to stop. Rate Your Tradie will create a need for accountability so tradies will think twice before trying to get away with second-rate work.

Do you charge a fee?

No, posting a review is free because we want to make it as easy as possible for people to leave an honest review.

Do you have advice for resolving a building dispute?

If your job or project has gone sour with a tradie, here’s what to do next:
